Jordan begins official crown prince wedding celebrations tomorrow

Jordan's official celebrations will begin with the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Ms. Rajwa Khaled Al-Saif on Wednesday, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Tomorrow, King Abdullah II will hold a dinner banquet at the Bani Hashim Rackets at the Royal Hashemite Court, attended by more than 4,<> guests from the Jordanian community.

To celebrate this occasion, the banquet will include segments highlighting the diversity and authenticity of the Jordanian heritage, including poetry, singing and songs.

Zahran Palace will witness, on Thursday, the wedding ceremony of the Crown Prince of Jordan and Miss Rajwa, after which the newlyweds will head to Al Husseiniya Palace surrounded by the red procession.

The procession will take a number of streets of the capital, which are decorated with flags, and manifestations of joy on this occasion.

At Al Husseiniya Palace, the King and his wife, Queen Rania Al Abdullah, will host a wedding reception followed by a formal dinner.

Jordan's guests began arriving in the capital, Amman, to attend Jordan's celebrations, as they are attended by heads of state, crown princes and personalities from brotherly and friendly countries, and the Kingdom's governorates are witnessing many events to celebrate the wedding.

According to the channel "Al-Arabiya", the "Red Procession" began to appear since the establishment of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and has since become a milestone in national occasions, and consists of 20 royal cars of red color, 14 of which participate in the procession, and 6 reserve cars, accompanied by 10 motorcycles, and there are 71 members of the Royal Guard all wearing red scarves on their chests.
