Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that the course of international developments is moving towards multipolarity, and that regional organizations determine the future of the world.
The Iranian news agency "IRNA" quoted Raisi as saying today during his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Forum for Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia Geert Sari Bay: "In light of the demise of unilateral policies, it is countries and regional organizations that will determine the future of the region and the world," referring to "the available and diverse energies of the alliance to develop interaction among member states."
Raisi pointed to the need to further strengthen the role of the organization in supporting member states and to intensify the activities of the General Secretariat of the Forum for Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.
Raisi affirmed his country's readiness to share its experiences in the scientific and technical fields, economic development, combating terrorism and systematic crimes with member states of the "Sika" region, and called for strengthening regional trade corridors.
