A new T-shirt or even your favorite top, both give you a lot: you feel comfortable and wear it as often as possible. All the worse when the unavoidable happens: stains. The other day at dinner I lost a piece of beetroot, and my favorite light gray shirt was already a few oily, bright pink spots more colorful.

Before I could panic, my mother gave me a piece of paper and half a lemon – I was supposed to put the paper under my shirt, put a little lemon juice on the blob and then work it in a circle with the lemon. After about a minute, I dared to take a look at the cotton – to my surprise, the stain had almost disappeared.

If you are similarly unsure about fork guidance, you should act as quickly as possible when removing stains. The fresher the stain, the easier it is to get rid of. Important: The base made of household paper or laundry towel must not be missing, the liquid must be absorbed. If you have a mishap in a restaurant, you can grab a napkin and lemon slice. Better a cocktail without lemon than a stain on the blouse! In this case, however, please wash the lemon first, alcohol should not be added to the melange.

Leave the lemon juice on for a few minutes. Then rinse the T-shirt with cold water so that the fabric is not damaged. This is particularly important for more delicate fabrics. In the case of stubborn stains, repetition is recommended. Ideally, the garment comes out of the washing machine like new.

By the way, with lemon juice you get the beetroot juice not only from your T-shirt and blouse, but also from your fingers - finally no more killer hands after preparation. Even annoying coffee, red wine, oil and blood stains cannot compete with the power of lemon.
