Beit Al Khair provides AED 26.7 million in emergency aid since the beginning of the year

Beit Al Khair Society's emergency support program has succeeded in spending more than AED 26.7 million since the beginning of this year, benefiting 4474,<> families and needy cases.

The program bears the name "Fazaa", and it is one of the programs that enhance the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion, and improve the conditions of the most needy people.

The program consists of "emergency aid", "treatment" and "debtors" projects, and is concerned with relieving the distress of families and cases that are going through disability or emergency crisis, so that they can overcome their ordeal and resume their usual lives.

The association explained that the spending on these projects was distributed in several areas, including about 14 million dirhams provided as urgent cash assistance to raise the material and financial deficit of 3596,6 families and cases, in addition to more than 47.12 million dirhams provided to support the housing of many low-income national families, especially young families, as well as supporting the marriage of 122 young citizens with a value of about 8.<> thousand dirhams.

Beit Al Khair helped 65 insolvent citizens solve financial, rental and controversial issues, which required the payment of amounts due by law worth 1.425 million dirhams, and contributed to the release of 13 citizen prisoners, who were imprisoned or almost executed by the judiciary due to financial debts they were unable to pay, by paying amounts worth more than 414.4 thousand dirhams.

The Society also provided medical and therapeutic services to a large number of inpatients whose treatment cost exceeded their ability or health insurance that did not help them cover their critical cases of surgeries, physiotherapy or expensive medicine, at a value of AED 1.967 million, benefiting 106 patients, who needed emergency financial support for their treatment.

Beit Al Khair contributed to supporting needy students from insolvent families with a value of AED 1.841 million, as it is convinced that education is one of the basic needs for the future of families, to help them enhance their self-reliance, by helping their children complete their educational attainment, so that they can obtain a job opportunity that suffices them and their families economically, as the number of students benefiting reached 175 students.

The Society also met the emergency needs of orphans worth AED 88.9,35, benefiting 32 orphans, and the needs of 343 people of determination, worth AED <>,<>, including the purchase of medical aids, wheelchairs and others, which helps them overcome the nature of their disability.

Finally, the association began implementing its new project "Mosque Service" by restoring the first mosque in the country for this year at a value of AED 92.7 thousand.
