With the participation of the delegation of Syria, the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) held its tenth meeting at the level of delegates in Kuwait under the chairmanship of Engineer Naseer Jabbar, representative of Iraq in the Executive Office of the Organization.
The members of the Executive Office of the Organization discussed a range of topics related to the work and activity of the Organization, including the approval of the final accounts for the year 2022, the development and restructuring of the Organization's work, the development of its activities, and the review of the regulations and laws governing its work, in line with the challenges and developments in the field of energy.
The meeting discussed the preparation and preparation for the twelfth Arab Energy Conference to be held in Qatar on December 11 and 12, the report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the General Secretariat, represented in the preparation of economic and technical studies and follow-up reports on the global petroleum situation, environmental affairs and climate change, and the progress of work in the data bank.
The meeting issued a number of ministerial decisions related to some of the topics on its agenda for the OIC General Secretariat to put those decisions into actual implementation.
