After 40% of votes have been counted

Preliminary results in the Turkish elections. Erdogan 57.36% Kilicdar 42.64%

The counting of votes began after voting in the second round of Turkey's presidential election between candidates, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his rival Kilicdaroglu, ended.

According to preliminary data, the vote for Erdogan was 57.36% and Kilicdar 42.64%, after 24% of the votes were counted.

This comes as the Anadolu news agency reported that the participation rate in the second round of the Turkish presidential elections is 83.99%.

The counting of votes has begun. There are no opinion polls once voters in Turkey leave, but preliminary results are expected within hours.
