Occupied Jerusalem-SANA

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the expansion of the Israeli occupation of settlement operations is a disregard for the United Nations and its resolutions, expressing its strong dissatisfaction with the low level of international reactions to the violations and crimes of the occupation forces and settlers and its complete exploitation of the land of the State of Palestine.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today carried by Wafa: These responses do not rise to the level of the crimes of the occupation and the size of the legal and moral responsibility placed on the international community in protecting international law and human rights principles, noting that the international positions that still call for the occupation and demand it to stop its measures without being associated with any real pressure to force it to comply with international law are nothing more than cosmetic attempts to double international standards.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the escalation of the occupation forces' repressive measures and persecution of Palestinians has reached high levels, to carry out creeping annexation of the West Bank through a long series of racist measures, the latest of which is the seizure of archaeological sites and nature reserves, with the aim of seizing more Palestinian lands.

The Foreign Ministry pointed to the escalation of settler terrorism and attacks on Palestinian lands under the protection of the occupation forces, explaining that it will continue to work to expose the crimes of the occupation to put the international community before its responsibilities and obligations in order to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy and hold the occupation accountable for its crimes.
