Erdogan calls on Turks to unite and solidarity after winning presidential elections

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered his victory speech from a balcony of the presidential complex in Ankara on Sunday evening, after winning a third term in which he thanked his supporters.

"The people's decision in this election was in Turkey's favor," Erdogan said, adding that Turkish democracy was the winner today. Erdogan stressed that "terrorist organizations lost and 85 million citizens all won," adding, "We will put aside differences, and we will unite on national values and dreams."

Earlier, Turkish President Erdogan said, on Sunday from Istanbul, that the victor today is Turkey and that he will not give up democracy, considering that the Turkish people made them live Eid after their vote in the elections.

Erdogan added during a speech while celebrating among his supporters with the imminent announcement of his official victory in the Turkish presidency, that he won the run-off with the support of the Turkish people, noting that whoever serves the people is never defeated, and that Turkey is a trust in his neck.

On his rival Kemal Kilicdaroglu, Erdogan said the CHP would hold Kilicdaroglu accountable for losing the election.
