The Awqaf Foundation and the Department of Minors Funds in Dubai and the Community Development Authority in Dubai held a coordination meeting hosted by the Foundation, as part of their joint efforts to develop the services of minors and manage social and humanitarian cases in the Emirate of Dubai, and to enhance coordination and joint work to ensure the achievement of the expected goals and outputs of programs and initiatives related to minors and the like.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Community Development Authority, Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, and a delegation from the Authority, where they were hosted by the Secretary-General of the Awqaf Foundation and the Management of Minors Funds, Ali Al-Mutawa, and a number of officials of the Foundation, and discussed joint work plans to facilitate the customer's journey and develop new horizons to meet the aspirations of the concerned segment.

The meeting discussed joint social support programs and a number of challenges that may constitute an obstacle to some of the services provided to the community.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid said that the Authority is working to intensify cooperation with the authorities concerned with the services of minors, with the aim of facilitating the customer's journey and reducing the psychological burden on the beneficiaries, as well as developing wider horizons for their upbringing as active and influential persons in future development.

Ali Al Mutawa stressed that the meeting comes within the framework of joint cooperation between Dubai Awqaf and partner government institutions with the aim of raising the efficiency of the endowment work system in the social affairs sector, and the Foundation's endeavor to develop its services and initiatives related to minors to achieve its mission in achieving leadership in endowment investment and palace funds.
