The Syrian Bakeries Corporation in Aleppo has restored the Zabdiya bakery to work and production after completing its restoration and maintenance work, with a production capacity of 24 tons of bread per day.

The director of the institution's branch said in a statement to the SANA correspondent in Aleppo that the return of the bakery to production comes within the institution's plan to rehabilitate and maintain a number of public bakeries in the city, including Al-Adhamiya, which stopped production today after its restoration operations began, which will continue for 90 days, and Al-Hamdaniya, who entered the maintenance phase for the same period of time while maintaining the work of a production line to provide bread within the minimum limits, pointing out that the institution is working to supplement bakeries that have stopped working due to maintenance. With the necessary quantities of bread through mobile cars.

Ahmed Halawani, director of Zabdiya Bakery, explained that the restoration work included the installation of ceramics, paint, ventilation, electricity networks, maintenance and repair of the two production lines, to secure the necessary quantities of bread for the neighborhoods of Al-Zabdia, Bustan Al-Qasr, Al-Ansari, Al-Sukkari, Al-Firdaws and Bustan Al-Zahra throughout the day.

It is noteworthy that the number of bakeries affiliated with the General Organization for Bakeries, Aleppo branch, is 32.
