Minister of Health Dr. Hassan Ghabbash discussed with Tunisian Minister of Health Ali Mrabet ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the health field.

During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the World Health Assembly, which is currently being held in Geneva, the two sides discussed the possibility of exchanging experiences, technical visits, primary health care mechanisms, vaccination and pharmaceutical industries.

Minister Ghabbash praised Tunisia's positions in support of Syria, including the humanitarian aid it sent to those affected by the earthquake that occurred on February 6, stressing the desire to strengthen health cooperation between the two countries.

The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of the World Health Organization (WHO), and delegations of all its Member States usually attend the work and discuss agenda items prepared by the Executive Board for specific topics in the field of health.
