Smart Driving License is a new service provided by Dubai Roads
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the introduction of a new service that allows drivers to dispense with their driving licenses by saving them in the authority's smart app.
The authority confirmed that the driver's license can be added to the "Apple Wallet" through simple steps in the RTA application in Dubai, and enjoy moving by vehicle without the need to carry the actual driver's license, adding that this avoids the driver any worry in the event of forgetting to carry the actual license.

A few days ago, RTA also announced the addition of new delivery services for customers, including the delivery of driving licenses and vehicle ownership within two hours from the time of receiving the confirmation of the transaction procedures within Dubai only, in addition to delivery during the same day in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and a service has been added New to deliver international shipments to customers outside the UAE.
Statistics revealed by the authority showed that the total number of transaction delivery requests during the first quarter of this year amounted to 134,640 transactions, where approximately 107,54 vehicle ownership renewal transactions, 25,500 transactions for renewing driving licenses, and 939 transactions for replacing damaged and lost driver's licenses. The statistics also indicated that 732 transactions were connected to the service of issuing an international driving license, and 415 transactions for the service of damage or loss of vehicle registration.
