The group of forces of the Russian "Zabad" announced today that four attempts to rotate Ukrainian forces on the forward axes towards Kobyliansk were foiled using artillery fire.

Sputnik quoted the director of the group's press center, Yaroslav Yakimkin, as saying: "In the course of hostilities on the Kobyansk axis, the self-propelled howitzer "Mista-S" of the Russian "Zabad" forces near the town of Kuchirovka destroyed an enemy D-20 cannon, and thwarted four attempts to rotate Ukrainian forces towards the forward axes."

Yakimkin pointed out that the aviation of Russian forces carried out missile strikes on the temporary deployment points of the First Ukrainian Special Purpose Brigade, the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the fourteenth separate mechanized brigade, and the Ukrainian regional defense unit, noting that Russian Pantsir-S air defense systems shot down three hostile drones.

In a related context, the governor of the Russian province of Rostov, Vasily Golubeev, announced that the Russian air defense system shot down a Ukrainian missile near the town of Morozovsk in the province.

Earlier, Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Russia's Belgorod province, said air defense systems shot down a drone as it approached the city of Belgorod.
