The activities of the Syria Spring Festival 2023, organized by the Nisreen Abbas Trading Establishment for Exhibitions and Conferences, and the Syrian Observatory for Media and Business Company, in cooperation with Sweida Governorate and the Sweida Chamber of Commerce and Industry, kicked off this evening at the Municipal Stadium in Al-Mazraa Sports City in Sweida, with the participation of about 55 national companies.

In a statement to reporters during the opening, Sweida Governor Bassam Parsik pointed out the importance of the festival in providing goods and products of all kinds from the producer to the consumer directly, which contributes to breaking the cycles of mediation, and providing citizens with the opportunity to buy high-quality products at prices below the market price.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sweida Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nabih Bakri, pointed to the wide participation of dozens of companies from Sweida province in this festival, between a producer and an agent for industrial companies in Damascus, pointing to the keenness of the participants to sell the product at cost and promote new goods.

The Executive Director of the Syrian Observatory for Media and Business, Aya Al-Qahf, explained that the idea of the festival appeared about three months ago, and it was prepared in coordination with the Governorate of Suwayda and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where all the necessary facilities were provided, noting the importance of the festival in creating a state of joy in the governorate and contributing to positive intervention in the markets and delivering the national product to the consumer directly at prices that break the intermediate distribution rings, in addition to the participating companies providing many industrial food products, clothes and shoes at competitive prices and discounts on All materials range from 15 to 30 percent.

During a tour of the festival's pavilions, industrialist Ghassan Al-Buraihi, owner of the Green Carpet Company for Food Products, indicated his keenness to participate in such events to introduce national products and provide them at cost to citizens, while Bashar Qarmousha from Mais Al-Reem Clothing Company pointed out that this is their first participation and they offer their products to citizens at reduced prices from the markets.

While the owner of the first company for the manufacture of electrical appliances, Muhannad Qassam, pointed to the importance of participation to introduce his products and sell them at discounts exceeding 40 percent, while Samer Falhout, owner of Shams Al-Shamousa Dryers Company, explained that participation allows him to introduce his company's products free of sugar and preservatives and present them to the consumer at cost, while Majd Al-Shibli from the "Made with Love" team indicated that the participation is the first for the team, which includes university students, each of whom manufactures works and handicrafts from his home from Accessories, cosmetics and more.

A number of festival visitors also pointed to the importance of such events in providing products from the producer to the consumer through the shopping market, which contributes to securing some of their requirements at reduced prices from the market.

The festival, which will continue until the fourth of next June, is accompanied by artistic and cultural events and children's games.
