The original tribute to Tina Turner
US Embassy staff in Australia dance to 'Nutbush City Limits'
With this dance in vogue in the 70s, inspired by the homonymous song by Turner, we wanted to remember the artist who had just died at the age of 83
A popular dance, the Nutbush, danced to the notes of the homonymous song 'Nutbush City Limits'.
So the staff of the United States Embassy in Australia wanted to pay tribute to the queen of rock, who died at the age of 83.
On the official Twitter page of the embassy the staff writes with irony: In honor of Tina Turner we decided to master the Nutbush, the unofficial national dance of Australia.
