Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munajjid discussed with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Social Insurance in Egypt, Major General Gamal Awad, the joint labor relations between the two countries, and the importance of strengthening them.

The meeting comes within the framework of the visit of the Minister to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to participate in the activities of the 49th session of the Arab Labor Conference, held from 22 to 29 of this month.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue coordination to extend social protection to the citizens of the two countries and exchange experiences in various areas of joint work, especially in the field of insurance coverage and various investment fields.

Minister Al-Munajjid stressed the importance of the Egyptian experience in the field of insurance and the need to exchange experiences between the two sides to benefit from them, which began to give great results through the preparation of Egyptian training programs in the field of social insurance and how to invest its funds.

In turn, Major General Gamal Awad pointed to the interest in developing and reforming the social insurance file and the careful follow-up of this file, reviewing the Egyptian experience in the field of digital transformation and how it has become the focus of attention of many countries of the world and specialists in international forums, which reflects positively on the Egyptian citizen, pensioners and beneficiaries, stressing that Egypt welcomes all aspects and forms of cooperation with sisterly Syria in the field of social insurance.
