Yerevan-Baku-Sana

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on mutual recognition of their territorial integrity, noting that they are making good progress towards settling their relations.

For his part, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in a statement quoted by RT website: "Baku does not have any territorial claims against Armenia."

He noted that the opportunity is currently possible for the two countries to reach a peace agreement, considering that "Armenia recognized Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan."

Aliyev added that there are serious requirements for normalizing relations on the basis of recognition of the territorial integrity of the other side.

Last year, with Russian mediation, Yerevan and Baku began discussing a future peace treaty, in which the two countries will periodically exchange proposals on its realization.
