Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the various integrations within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, noting the importance of bilateral integration of Russia and Belarus into the Union.

Novosti quoted Tokayev as saying during the plenary session of the Second Eurasian Economic Forum: It is very important to take into account the fact that the State of the Union of Russia and Belarus participates within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, pointing out that the conceptual and ideological basis of this union is important, as it represents a mutual recognition of the historical society of the Russian and Belarusian peoples and a recognition of the cultural, linguistic and religious identity as one people that cannot be divided.

Tokayev called for discussing the mechanisms of integration represented by Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia and expanding it in light of their partnerships, which is necessary and worth discussing at this economic forum.
