The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled directed not to renew the residencies of an Egyptian couple and their six children and to grant them temporary residence that ends at the end of the school year, after submitting a report from the Community Police to the First Deputy that included the existence of family disputes between the spouses, and as a result of these differences, the father stayed with one of his friends and the mother left the apartment in which she resides with her children without leaving them any food, which necessitated that two children take turns to go to school to take care of their baby sister, who is only 3 months old.

According to a Kuwaiti security source, the daughter of the expatriates contacted the operations of the Ministry of Interior, and said that her parents left her and her five siblings hungry and could not find anything to eat two days ago.

The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Anba" quoted the source as saying: "Immediately the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, Major General Abdullah Al-Rajib, was informed, who directed to provide care for the six children and transfer them to the station and provide them with meals."

The source added: "The community police that took over the care of the children were notified and the husband was called, as he reported that he was dispensed with and became without work and suffers from financial problems, and as a result there were differences with the wife, which forced him to leave the marital home 4 months ago and reside with his friend, claiming that he is committed to the expenses of his children and pays the tuition fees and the bus that transports them from school back and forth, while the wife said that she can no longer take care of the children and does not have What she spends on them and went to stay with her friend."

The source confirmed that the statements of the two children, who said that they take turns to take care of their infant sister so that the eldest child goes to school one day and the other is absent, as well as her brother does, to register a case against the couple entitled negligence in caring for a minor and submit a report to Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, who ordered to put the couple and the six children on the item of not renewing residencies and granting the entire family a temporary residence while preventing renewal for them and deporting them to their homeland.

It is noteworthy that the husband was born in 1981 and the wife was born in 1985, and the six children are 4 females born in 2011, 2016, 2019 and 2023, while the two children are born in 2009 and 2020.
