A private source revealed to Sputnik today that the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian forces, Valery Zaluzhny, was shot in the head, as a result of a Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian command center near Kherson earlier this month.

The source explained that "the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, Valery Zaluzhny, is undergoing surgery in the head after being injured, as a result of the Russian missile strike," noting that "Zalogny will not be able to continue his service after the injury he received as a result of the missile strike."

Since February 24, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces have been carrying out the special military operation in the Donbas region, with the aim of protecting the population that has been persecuted and exterminated for 8 years by the Kiev regime.
