«Emirates Education»: Transferring the student to the compensatory period if the electronic ticket cannot be issued

The Emirates Schools Establishment stated that if it is not possible to issue an electronic ticket for the student to take the electronic test, during the end-of-semester exam, he will be transferred to the "compensatory period", and this procedure is done after ensuring that he is registered correctly. In the guide to schools' readiness for the third semester exams and the compensatory period for the academic year 2022-2023, the Foundation explained that if the student obtains a ticket to enter the electronic test (electronic ticket), but he cannot start the test, and the message "There is no scheduled electronic test" appears to him, he must verify the validity of the ticket, exam material and date, and then enter the login link and password printed on the ticket accurately.

In the event that the student's exam session is interrupted during the electronic test due to a technical malfunction or network outage, and he is unable to enter the test again after addressing the reason for the interruption, the administrator or technician at the school of the student with the problem must change the computer, so that the student enters again using the previous electronic entry ticket in order to be able to complete the exam. The guide indicated what the student must do if two tickets appear, one A and the other C, to take the electronic test, as if the student is outside the country among the approved cases of school branches, he performs the electronic test C, and he can enter half an hour after the start time of the basic test, according to the approved examination schedule. On the other hand, the Foundation adopted the mechanisms for calculating the final average and its controls, and the marks of the twelfth students at the end of the current academic year 2022-2023, as they are calculated according to the weights of the three semesters, for the formative and final evaluation approved in the National Evaluation Standards Manual.

She reported through the student evaluation policy and examination controls (this May edition), that the student's average is extracted from dividing the total by the number of group A subjects, while group B subjects are subject to unified central assessments, and letter evaluation and have no grades, and are not included in the total. She explained that the grading scale varies according to the educational path and appears below the certificate. She stressed that students in the first and second grades are not subject to central tests and evaluation from the teacher. While the third and fourth grades are subject to final exams in the three semesters, according to weights determined by 30% for the first semester (20% formative and 10% final), 35% for the second semester (15% for formative and 20% for the final), as well as 35% for the third semester (15% for training and 20% for the final), according to the developments in the evaluation policy. She confirmed the evaluation of students of determination by the subject teacher, in coordination with the special education teacher at the school, so that the exam is prepared according to the individual educational plan. Students of determination who follow an individual educational plan "adaptation" will take the same electronic exam as the rest of the students.
