The electric scooter that exploded belonged to a resident and the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.

The owner of the e-scooter reportedly charged it in the communal cooking area instead of in his room to avoid being touched by his dog during charging.

The fire brigade said that if the battery catches fire, it will spread quickly and it will be difficult to escape, so they advised that the electric scooter should not be stored inside the house and charged outside.

Users reacted by saying, "This is an accident that often happens in our country," "I'm glad that the battery wasn't genuine or that people weren't hurt," and "I wish there was a bill to ban indoor charging at all."
