Today, the Russian army thwarted an attempted Ukrainian attack on the Solidar-Artyumovsk direction, as well as the destruction of Ukrainian weapons and equipment.
The Novosti news agency quoted the head of the press center of the "South" group of forces, Vadim Astafyev, as saying on the operational direction of Solidar-Artiomovsk: An attack attempt by a Ukrainian tactical group was foiled, during which it suffered losses in personnel and armor.
He added that a Buk-M missile air defense system destroyed two Himars missiles, while Russian forces shot down Ukrainian "Voria" air drones in the direction of Avdiivka.
Astafiev noted that 10 military transport trucks and a 155mm self-propelled gun were destroyed by Tornado S rocket launchers.
In the direction of Marinka, the Russian army destroyed 5 artillery pieces of different calibers, three mortar firing sites, a stronghold of a platoon of the Ukrainian forces, and in the area of the residential center "Ovida"Two attempts to rotate Ukrainian units in combat positions were thwarted.
