The images spread on social media of the fighting in Bakhmut are increasingly impressive: now - in the last war video - the vegetation seems to have taken possession of roads and buildings, now concrete is being replaced by earth, the tangles of cars destroyed by bombs and shootings.

The head of the Russian paramilitary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the city of Bakhmut, the epicenter of months of fighting in eastern Ukraine, is unlikely to be taken in the coming days: "It is unlikely that Bakhmut will be completely conquered tomorrow or the day after," Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Telegram, reporting heavy fighting in the southwestern outskirts of the city.
"Bakhmut has not yet been taken. There is a suburb called +Samolet+. It is an impregnable fortress formed by rows of buildings. The toughest battles are taking place there right now," the Wagner leader added. "An important request then: happiness loves silence. Let's finish the job," he concluded.
While according to the ISW, "Kiev broke through Russian defense lines to Ivanovsky and Klishchiivka."
"Several Russian servicemen claim that Ukrainian forces broke through Moscow's defense lines south and southwest of Ivanovsky (6 km west of Bakhmut) and northwest of Klishchiivka (6 km southwest of Bakhmut)," the ISW analyst report said.
