Secretary Kim Jong-un is back in public for the first time in about a month. I personally examined the military reconnaissance satellite No. 1, and it was revealed that it approved a plan of action for the future, so it will be interesting to see if North Korea will launch a reconnaissance satellite soon.

Kim Jong-un, general secretary of North Korea's Workers' Party, toured the Nodong Sinmun military reconnaissance satellite No. 1, Nodong Sinmun reported.

Nodong Sinmun reported that General Secretary Kim Jong Un yesterday (16 May) toured the military reconnaissance satellite No. 1, which is ready to be mounted after the final inspection of the assembly status and the space environment test.

Kim Jong-un's on-site map was accompanied by his daughter Ju-ae.

Nodong Sinmun reported that the project of the emergency satellite launch preparation committee for the launch of the first military reconnaissance satellite is in the final stages, and Kim Jong-un highly appreciated that the satellite launch preparation committee is responsibly carrying out its duties and roles.

Nodong Sinmun also reported that Kim Jong-un has approved the next action plan of the emergency satellite launch preparation committee.

Accordingly, it remains to be seen whether North Korea will launch a military reconnaissance satellite in the near future.

Kim Jong-un emphasized that the successful launch of a military reconnaissance satellite is an urgent need starting from the country's security environment and is the process of implementing the country's top priority defense capability strengthening policy.

Kim Jong-un's public activities come about a month after the on-site guidance of the National Space Development Agency on 1 March.
