This video was uploaded by Fujishima Hyun, the CEO of "Johnny's", which is synonymous with
Japanese male idol production companies.

The founder and his uncle, former CEO Johnny Kitagawa, has apologized for allegations of sexual exploitation of trainees.

[Representative Fujishima/Johnny's: First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest apologies to those who are complaining of damage.]

Founded in 1962, Johnny's is a male idol agency that has created idol groups such as SMAF and Arashi, which are also known in Korea.

Allegations that former CEO Kitagawa sexually abused several teenage male trainees have been raised for more than 10 years, but the company has not acknowledged it.

This is because Kitagawa himself strongly denied the allegations.

However, in March, the BBC reignited the issue of sexual exploitation of Kitagawa with a documentary called "The Predator of Japanese J-Pop," and last month, the former Johnny's singer held a press conference to reveal that he had been sexually abused.

[Singer from Okamoto/Johnny's: I remember the first time I was sexually assaulted when I had just graduated from junior high school. I was sexually assaulted by Mr. Kitagawa about 20~3 times in all.]

When nearly 15,20 fans signed the petition demanding an apology from the company and third-party verification, the head of Fujishima Prefecture bowed his head.

However, in 3, former CEO Kitagawa died, and it was said that it was difficult to determine whether the sexual exploitation was true.

In addition, he said that he did not know about the fact of sexual exploitation, and he did not resign as CEO, which is criticized as a tricky apology to avoid social repercussions.
