Al-Burhan dismisses Sudanese police chief and terminates the service of ambassadors in the Foreign Ministry

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued on Monday a decision to relieve Lieutenant General Anan Hamed Mohamed Omar from his position as Director General of the Police Forces.

The Sudanese Armed Forces spokesman's office said Burhan had assigned Lieutenant General Khaled Hassan Muhyiddin to carry out the duties of director general of the police force.

Al-Burhan also issued a decision today to terminate the service of Ambassador Abdel Moneim Othman Mohamed Ahmed Al-Bayti and Ambassador Haider Badawi Sadiq from working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Al-Burhan directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relevant authorities to put the decision into effect.
