Artificial intelligence is currently constantly in the headlines, computers can do more and more and impress in ever new areas. At the same time, development in other areas of computer science does not stand still, on the contrary: companies and public institutions are working on quantum computers, and especially with the blockchain, many hopes for more efficient and secure digitization are associated. But what is hype, how much exaggeration is there in it? What can computers and communication protocols really do? Will blockchain one day make banks and other financial intermediaries obsolete? Is there really what experts call General Artificial Intelligence?
