«Women's Renaissance» appreciates the role of the UAE in instilling a culture of volunteerism

The Director General of Al Nahda Women's Association in Dubai, Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, stated that the UAE's celebrations every year of the Emirates Volunteer Day, which falls on May 14 of each year, are an important occasion that we are proud of, following up that the Women's Renaissance Association, under the directives of Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, President of the Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and through the volunteer unit of the Association, seeks to consolidate the values of volunteerism and launch volunteer initiatives and programs that enhance national cohesion and a culture of loyalty and thanks to the leadership that gave without limits to the dear homeland.

She added that the association with all sincerity and dedication sheds light on volunteer work and its sustainability, rooting decent volunteer values, and supporting the UAE's efforts as a leading model in empowering community members and investing time and self in creative and positive national practices that enhance the advancement of the societal fabric.

She praised the launch of the Emirates Volunteer Conference, hosted by the Capital of Peace Abu Dhabi for Social Fraternity, at the initiative of Zayed Cares, and organized by the Emirates Cares Association, the Emirates Volunteer Academy, the Young Emirati Volunteer Leaders Program and the Emirates Medical Preparedness and Response Program "Jaheziya".

Al Falasi pointed out that «Abu Dhabi, the green capital, embraces the message of white hands is a step that we are very proud of, and our country's interests in the culture of volunteering and rooting it in society is a message and honesty, and that the launch of the Emirates Volunteer Conference in its 23rd edition under the slogan (Together to give back to the homeland) is an important event that we all rise and rise in the volunteer spaces».
