In addition to various allegations related to the possession of large amounts of virtual assets, the People's Power continued to criticize Rep. Kim and the MDP, calling it "tail cutting" when Rep. Kim Nam-guk of the Democratic Party of Korea voluntarily withdrew from office.

In a commentary, Kang Min-guk, chief spokesman for the People's Power, said, "If you know how ridiculous the people are, they try to avoid a crisis with this kind of trick every time," adding, "The MDP seems to think that defection from the party is a 'universal cheat' that will receive indulgence."

Chief Spokesman Kang criticized, "Even at the moment of his resignation, he only expressed his regret to the MDP, but did not express a single expression of sincere apology to the people or a single sincere attempt to clarify the allegations."

In a post on his Facebook page, Park Lo-yong, chairman of the Policy Committee, pointed out that it was "a bulletproof stripping show of 'coin rich' cosplaying poor."

"We have seen many precedents in which the defection of the MDP is nothing more than a 'trailer for the party,'" Park said, adding, "We cannot get rid of the idea that it is a temporary escape without sincerity."

The People's Power demanded that Rep. Kim resign as a member of Congress.

Jang Ye-chan, a member of the Supreme Committee of the Youth Party, said on Facebook, "If he leaves the party, it will be difficult to conduct a fact-finding investigation of the MDP, he may not follow the recommendation to sell virtual assets, and he may continue to acquire inside information and trade coins as a member of the National Assembly."

In a commentary, Chief Spokesman Kang also pressed the MDP to "take an active role in Rep. Kim's resignation as a member of Congress."
