The president of the council Giorgia Meloni arrived in Udine to attend the 94th national meeting of the Alpines. Waiting for her, the Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto, with his colleague for Relations with Parliament Luca Ciriani, the president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region Massimiliano Fedriga and the mayor of Udine Alberto Felice De Toni.

Meloni received military honors and reviewed the deployed units. "I think here is one of the most extraordinary representations that take place during the year, of what love of country is. I believe that the theme of the commitment of our national community and the bond to belonging that binds us is one of the most important things on which we must leverage to revive this nation. So we need moments like these," said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, calling the gathering a big family in Italy.

To parade, according to an estimate, between 70 and 90 thousand black feathers along the streets of the center. The Minister of Defense, Crosetto in a letter called them "an authentic point of reference, today as yesterday". Their hat with the pen, is the minister's thought, "is a symbol of eternal values, indispensable for a modern society to be able to look to the future with serenity". The gathering, therefore, is "a coming together to revive those indissoluble bonds at the base of the solidarity and generosity of the Alpines".

During the event, the spotlights remain focused also on the theme of gender violence, with the Municipality and the ANA who displayed a banner on the town hall, declaring zero tolerance, and with a representation of the Equal Opportunities Commission of Friuli Venezia Giulia who announced his presence at the parade. The gathering reiterated the commander of the Alpine troops, General Ignazio Gamba, will be a moment of celebration to be lived in harmony. "If there is any imbecile then, we will hand him over to law enforcement," he said.

Meanwhile, the streets of the city are animated by Alpine troops from all over Italy and abroad, who meet to celebrate the fundamental values of the Corps and also for moments of celebration. Difficult to walk in the center, because of the crowd of black feathers, but had to deal with frequent downpours of rain.

More than 500 international participants attended the meeting, with delegations from South Africa, South America, Australia, Canada and the United States. Among the numbers of this edition, also those relating to the citadel of the Alpines, inaugurated at the Moretti park, which exhibits the military vehicles and equipment, visited on the first day by 18 thousand people.
