Rep. Kim Nam-guk of the
Democratic Party withdrew from the party today (14th). It's been three days since allegations of cryptocurrency trading surfaced during the Standing Committee meeting, but there has been no explanation or statement of position on the matter.

According to the rules of the Democratic Party, his membership in the party disappeared upon filing the withdrawal notice, and Rep. Kim became an independent.

Fact-finding and ethics inspections at the party level have effectively ceased, and the fulfillment of the party's demanded promise to sell cryptocurrencies has become unclear.
