"There's a guy running in the glass box over there?"

In a park in Bulgaria, a man lives in a glass box with a clear view inside, attracting attention.

Marathon runner and philanthropist Krase Guergiev began his "30-day life" in a large glass box in the middle of a park in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital, on March 15.

In a video released by Reuters, Gueorgiev lives in a glass box that is glass on three sides.

The box is not covered by a curtain so you can see inside, and the only furniture inside is a treadmill and bed.

The bathroom is a separate room closed in a glass box.

For 15 days, he is quarantined, unable to get out of here or let anyone else in.

No books, computers, or cell phones, and you can only spend 30 minutes a day communicating with people outside and over glass walls.

Dressed in short sleeves, shorts and sunglasses, Gueorgiev spends most of his time running on a treadmill.

Passers-by stop to watch him curiously.

Gueorgiev is doing this to raise money for a project to help and prevent alcohol, drugs, and social media addictions.

By living in a glass box, he wanted to experience and express the social isolation that adolescents feel when they are addicted to something.

"I wanted to show how you change psychologically when you put someone in a box," Gueoryev said, "and I also want to challenge myself."

All the money raised will reportedly be donated to charity.
