Elected for a four-year term, Vincent Gouëset has been a teacher-researcher at the University of Rennes, nicknamed "Rennes-2 the red" and bastion of the student struggle, for thirty years.
Professor of geography, he is a specialist in Latin America and in particular mobility issues in this subcontinent. According to a statement from the university, it "intends to defend the place of Rennes-2 in the implementation of university cooperation" and "intends to continue the university's commitment to the socio-environmental transition to contribute to the fight against global warming."
