The criminal court of Béziers (Hérault) convicted three men, aged 32, 37 and 45, for an attempted burglary, committed on the night of April 6, in a district of the Hérault sub-prefecture. The two youngest defendants were arrested in flagrante delicto by the police, who were conducting a patrol.

The police had spotted the funny little merry-go-round of a vehicle. He filed the two respondents, who then broke into the victim's home. The third man, accused of being the driver of the vehicle, was found by the police, the next day, in the parking lot of a shopping center in Béziers. The latter, however, denied his participation in the facts, says the prosecutor of Béziers.

From 18 months to 4 years in prison

The 32-year-old, whose criminal record already included six convictions, was sentenced to three years in prison. The 37-year-old, already convicted 3 times in the past, was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Finally, the man accused of driving the vehicle was sentenced to 4 years in prison, not counting the revocation of 1 year suspended imprisonment. The latter already had 28 mentions on his criminal record. They have all been detained and are no longer allowed to possess a weapon for five years.
