The events took place between October 2021 and May 2022. During this period, a 69-year-old grandfather abused his 11-year-old granddaughter. The man, who was tried Vesoul (Haute-Saône), gave his version of the facts concerning an episode.
"My granddaughter asked me for a massage so I told her to get naked. I massaged him and passed cream on his body, chest, buttocks and sex. [...] She asked me how we made children, I got naked in my turn and I made her a simulation to show her but very quickly I stopped because I felt that it was bad, "he explained according to L'Est Républicain.
The defendant was eventually given a two-year suspended sentence, banned from contacting the victim and from engaging in any activity with minors.
