The alarm for the burning of houses and the night flames in the video from Ukrainian social media with the fire in the district of Zaporizhzhia, the region where the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is located. According to the post on social media in Kiev: "massive launch of Russian rockets with phosphorus and cluster shells". The Russian bombing would have caused "5 wounded, including a driver and an ambulance paramedic".

According to Ukrainian source damage "also to two ambulances: Previously, as a result of the bombings, 5 private residential buildings had been partially destroyed and about 6 other buildings had been damaged".

Russia plans to transfer about 2,700 Ukrainian employees from the Zaporizhzhia plant, Europe's largest nuclear power plant, the Ukrainian atomic energy company said, warning of a potential "catastrophic shortage of skilled personnel" at the Russian-occupied plant in southern Ukraine. Workers who signed employment contracts with Russia's Rosatom nuclear agency following Moscow's capture of the Zaporizhzhia plant at the start of the war will be brought to Russia along with their families, Energoatom said in a Telegram post.
The company did not specify whether employees would be forcibly removed from the plant, nor was it possible to immediately verify Energoatom's claims about Moscow's plan.

On the May 10 Moscow side, Russian intelligence reported that it had foiled an attack on a police chief in the occupied region of Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. In the crosshairs there was "the head of the department of law enforcement in the village of Kirillovka", reports Tass, specifying that the alleged attacker is a 31-year-old Ukrainian who has been arrested.
