Yemeni sources: a long-term truce will be signed soon

Informed Yemeni sources confirmed the completion of the first phase of the preparation of the roadmap for peace in Yemen, consisting of three stages, and will be presented to the Yemeni parties by the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, within days for its signature.

The sources reported that during the past few days, the items around which technical differences revolve were discussed, and were placed within the framework of solutions that satisfy everyone, noting that a long-term truce will be signed soon.

The sources pointed out that there is a move at the level of the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council to Yemen, to support the expected peace tracks in Yemen.

On the other hand, Yemeni military sources confirmed the start of the deployment of the Yemeni "Homeland Shield" forces in the areas of contact with the Houthi militias in the governorates of "Marib and Shabwa", within the framework of the tasks entrusted to them by the Yemeni leadership, represented in the deployment and stationing in the seam areas to secure them during the period of negotiations.
