Treats and wine. This is what saved a 48-year-old woman missing since April 30 in the Australian bush, reports BFMTV. Police said Saturday they were able to find her safe and sound in the Bright Forest in the southeast of the country.

The Australian, who was on vacation in this area, was on her way to the Dartmouth Dam. On her way, she took a wrong path. Trying to turn around, his car got stuck in the mud, police said. Being in an area without mobile coverage, about sixty kilometers from the first city, she could not call for help. Her health prevented her from walking, so she decided to stay close to her vehicle. "She used common sense by staying next to her car so she wouldn't get lost in the bush, which allowed the police to find her," said Martin Torpey of Wodonga Police Station.

Yesterday afternoon, Air Wing were conducting a sweep of the hilly terrain when they spotted Lillian's car at the end of a dirt road in the Mitta Mitta bushland.

She never drank alcohol

To feed herself, she didn't have much choice. Planning to leave for the day, she found only a few treats in her car, including lollipops. She had not taken water but a bottle of wine. Ironically, the Australian woman does not usually drink alcohol. It was a gift for his mother.

The missing woman was found thanks to the patrol that flew over the area by helicopter. The police were able to see the car. On the video published by the police, we see that the forty-year-old waves her arms, showing that she was alive. A little later, a car patrol was guided to her. She was hospitalized and treated for dehydration.
