The disciplinary action within the party against the two Supreme Council members of the People's Power Kim Jae-won and Thae Yong-ho, which had been postponed once, will be decided today (10). Within the power of the people, there is an atmosphere that induces voluntary resignation even today, the day of the disciplinary announcement, but the parties still seem to be holding out.

Ahead of today's disciplinary decision by the People's Power Ethics Committee, Supreme Council member Thae Yong-ho is contemplating his position until the last minute.

If a severe disciplinary sentence of one year of suspension of party membership is issued, it will be interpreted that he will not be nominated for next year's general elections and will have to offer the position of chairman of the party cooperation committee, so he will weigh the interests of the party.

However, he also confessed that he was worried about stepping down from the elected position of Supreme Council after two months.

[Thae Yong-ho/Supreme Committee Member of the People's Power: The party members elected me and sent me to the leadership, but I am not yet fully determined whether I can easily throw me lightly. If you ask the responsible party members even through the polls....]

Supreme Council Member Kim Jae-won still maintains the position of dismissing the possibility of voluntary resignation.

Within the party, there is still an atmosphere that induces the voluntary resignation of the two top committee members.

If severe disciplinary action is imposed while remaining in office, they are worried that the internal investigation may continue as they fight back with a request for reconsideration or a lawsuit.

Representative Kim Ki-hyun said that there will be no leadership vacuum, but [Kim Ki-hyun/Representative of the People's Power: There may be some vacancies, but how is that a vacuum

? Then all the other leadership becomes invisible?]

Without voluntary resignation, two of the five elected members of the Supreme Council may be absent, deepening the party's worries.
