Speaking in Ancona in support of the candidate for mayor of the center-right, Daniele Silvetti, after the two deputy prime ministers Matteo Salvini and Antonio Tajani, the leader of Fratelli d'Italia puts her personal stakes on the theme of presidentialism and institutional reform. "I would like to make a reform that is as shared as possible," he says. But I do it anyway, he adds, "because I received the mandate from the Italian people."

"Tomorrow we convened the opposition to talk about constitutional reforms. They say it's not a priority. I think it is a priority to say enough to the governments built in the laboratory inside the palace that pass on the skin of the citizens and bind those who govern to the popular consensus and give this nation stability, governments that last five years", he chants. "The attitude I expect is the same as I offer: it is one of openness - assures Meloni -. Let's try to understand if there are points of synthesis in which we can all find ourselves". "I offer maximum availability if there is availability - clarifies the Prime Minister - but I do not accept Aventine or dilatory attitudes, in the sense that I do what I have to do".

No problem, adds Meloni, even on the nomination dossier or on the issue related to the top management of Rai. On the new commander of the Guardia di Finanza, he points out, "I have read many rather curious reconstructions. We still formally have a commanding general waiting, and so we proceed calmly when the times say so. I cannot say that I agree or that the reconstructions of ruptures within the government are realistic. It is a theme that we are facing with enormous serenity". And on the latest news in the company of Viale Mazzini, he is keen to emphasize the fact that "the choice of Carlo Fuortes to resign" as CEO of Rai "is his choice, it is not a choice that anyone has imposed on him".
