Poll: 67% of Ukrainians think war can only end with victory

According to a poll published by the Kiev Democratic Initiatives Foundation, more than 67% of Ukrainians say that war with Russia can only end after victory and no compromise with Russia is acceptable.

22% of respondents say some compromises are possible. 5% say any compromise is acceptable as long as it ends the war. According to the same poll, 82% of Ukrainians say there is no difference between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler. 11% of respondents say they "probably agree" with this statement. Ukrainians see Poland (68%), the United States (67%) and the United Kingdom (45%) as their staunchest allies, while Polish President Andrzej Duda, US President Joe Biden and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson as Ukraine's most prominent supporters. The two most popular people in Ukraine are President Volodymyr Zelensky and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.

Pulitzer Prize to Ukrainian AP reporters in Mariupol

Ukrainian PA journalists Mstyslav Chernov, Evgeniy Maloletka, Vasilisa Stepanenko and Lori Hinnant won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service – the most prestigious of all Pulitzers – for their "brave" reporting from Mariupol, then under Russian siege.

The AP also won a Pulitzer for its coverage of the war, while the New York Times staff won the International Reporting Award for its "resolute coverage of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, including an eight-month investigation into Ukrainian deaths in Bucha."

Moscow: 'Operation of reactors at Zaporizhzhia power plant suspended'
