Rashid & Latifa Schools has announced its vision and strategic initiative that involves rethinking the school system to provide a unique educational experience that prepares students for the challenges of the future, and this vision forms an integral part of the exceptional plans prepared by the Foundation to redevelop Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls.

Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Rashid and Latifa Schools Foundation, said: "The directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to the Board of Trustees are to provide a transformative educational experience that transcends traditional patterns on the one hand, and provides an incubator for future leaders in the UAE on the other."

He pointed out that the work team harnessed all efforts and energies to implement the directives of His Highness, through comprehensive development and the development of plans that enable students to manage their education, by addressing the real challenges facing the world, mastering skills and project-based learning, and providing a student-centered and forward-looking learning environment. He added that one of the main axes of the new strategy is the establishment of an educational institution that includes Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls, under one umbrella and system, and the school will continue to provide separate education for boys and girls from the first foundation level to the thirteenth grade, and students will receive their education at Latifa School for Girls, while students will receive their education at Rashid School for Boys.

He stressed that Rashid School and Latifa School will establish itself as a world-leading school by providing an educational environment that celebrates the achievements of all its children individually and collectively, and will inspire successful learners by understanding themselves and their place in the world, and strengthening their connection to their local and global communities.

He explained that the plan includes a comprehensive development of the Rashid School building and Latifa School, taking into account the provision of a creative learning environment that achieves the highest standards of excellence in the academic and social development of male and female students, including the design of the building, the selection of environmentally friendly building materials, modern equipment, the provision of information technology infrastructure, and the use of outdoor spaces for learning and inspiration, noting that work on the construction of Rashid and Latifa School will begin next fall, and the two schools are expected to receive the first phase of students of the level Foundation One through Grade Four in September 2024.
