Around 20 p.m. this Sunday, a pile-up involving five light vehicles took place on the Toulouse ring road, reports France 3 Occitanie, between the Rangueil and Empalot interchanges. The firefighters of SDIS 31 intervened on the road axis to rescue five injured, then in relative emergency, after this traffic accident.
Three people hospitalized
According to firefighters, three people were hospitalized and two were able to return home after being examined at the scene. An extrication was necessary to free two 25-year-old women from their vehicles while the third hospitalized victim, a man in his seventies, was able to get out of his vehicle alone.
A total of twenty firefighters were mobilized on site to take care of the victims of this pile-up.
