MDP Representative Lee Jae-myung said yesterday (4th) that if the president finds it difficult to meet him, he can meet with the Senate leader first, but MDP Leader Park Kwang-on today put forward the position that the party leader should come first. In response, the ruling party expressed regret that the negotiation was cancelled due to the opposition's circumstances.

This was covered by reporter Han Sung-hee.

[Lee Jae-myung/MDP Leader (yesterday): If it is difficult for the President to meet the Leader of the Opposition due to various circumstances, I would not mind meeting with Senate Leader (Park Kwang-on).]

A day after MDP Representative Lee Jae-myung's proposal, Senate Minority Leader Park Kwang-on reiterated that he had no intention of meeting President Yoon Seok-yeol before Lee.

"I think it is in order and in order for the President to meet with the Leader of the Opposition first to discuss ways to overcome the national crisis."

Senate Minority Leader Pak, who is a non-myeong-gye, is likely to have been burdened with the outcome of the meeting due to the controversy over the passing of party leaders that would arise if she met President Yun before Lee.

No official position from the Office of the President has been released.

However, an official expressed displeasure, saying, "After the meeting with the president, there is nothing else to say at the moment about the exchanges between the leader of the opposition and the leader of the Senate."

National Democratic Leader Yoon Jae-ok said, "It seems that the decision was made in consideration of the circumstances within the opposition party, but we regret that the important occasion for the opposition negotiations has been abandoned."

Due to Leader Park's repeated testimonials, it seems unlikely that a meeting with the opposition leadership will take place within one year of President Yun's inauguration.

Amid a number of urgent issues such as the war fraud, the demand for political restoration is also increasing.

There are many voices who expect unfettered communication.
