A bookstore named after the village has been built in Yangsan Pyeongsan Village, where former President
Moon Jae-in's private residence is located.

It is a "flat walking room" built by former President Moon at his own expense.

The bookstore, about 170 meters away from President Moon's residence, has a plaque today and is open for anyone to visit from tomorrow.

A day before the opening, Mr. and Mrs. Moon invited their neighbors to the plaque ceremony.

[Moon Jae-in/Former President: I look forward to becoming a cultural space for residents and a love room. I will be more greedy and the Pyeongsan Walkroom will become a famous spot in Pyeongsan Village and Jisan-ri....]

He said that he put a lot of effort into preparing and wished him success.

[Moon Jae-in/Former President: We bought a house and converted it into a bookstore like this, and we spent a lot of time on remodeling. Let's all work together and make our flat room a great success!]

Residents expressed anticipation.

[Shin Han-gyun/resident: How nice it is to have a library in the countryside, bring your grandchildren and sit in the library, look at books, show picture books, have interesting stories, and be a meeting place.]

On the first floor, it is about 1㎡ and 143 pyeong, and it has about 43,3 books and new books donated by former President Moon.

The management is handled by the bookstore management committee, which also participates in residents, and the profits belong to the foundation and are used for the operation of the bookstore and public services.

It is known that former President Moon will visit the bookstore once a day, even if he does not reside in the bookstore, and he is interested in whether it will become a political love room frequented by opposition politicians beyond the residents' love room.
