President
Yoon Seok-yeol arrives with his wife, Kim Kun-hee, at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, USA.

After a brief welcome ceremony at the airport, President and Sister Yun will unwind at the Blair House, a state guest house, and a short time later, they will embark on their first state visit in 5 years and five nights, starting with a dinner meeting for their fellow countrymen.

On the second day of the trip, on the 7th, the itinerary will include a U.S.-Korea Business Roundtable and a visit to NASA's Goddard Space Center.

Although the summit meeting will take place on the 5th, the first meeting between President Yun and US President Biden will take place on the afternoon of the 7th.

The two leaders plan to visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial Park together to strengthen the friendship and trust between the two countries.

He will then visit NASA's Goddard Space Center to meet with Korean experts and highlight bilateral cooperation to advance the space economy.

The highlight of this trip, the U.S.-ROK summit, will take place on the 12th.

Strengthening deterrence of North Korea's expansion, economic and security cooperation, and coordination on global issues are among the key agenda items of the talks.

In addition, ways to reduce the disadvantages of our companies in relation to the Inflation Reduction Act and the Semiconductor Support Act are also likely to be on the table.

I'm interested in whether President Yun will bring up weapons aid to Ukraine, which he hinted at in a recent foreign interview, but in an interview with The Washington Post before his departure, President Yun expressed a cautious stance, saying, "We cannot help but consider a number of direct and indirect relationships between our country and our belligerents."
