Sudan.. Civilian casualties rise to 264 killed and 1543,<> injured

The Sudanese Doctors Syndicate announced today that the victims of clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces have risen to 264 civilian deaths and 1543,<> injuries.

The union said in a post on its Facebook page today that clashes are still ongoing between the Rapid Support Forces and the armed forces, and have resulted in more casualties that are being counted so far in the capital and the provinces.

She pointed out that there are many injuries and deaths that are not included in this inventory, pointing to the inability to reach hospitals due to the difficulty of movement and the security situation in the country.

The syndicate revealed that yesterday, 8 civilian deaths and 89 injuries, including many unstable cases, pointing to the increase in clashes outside Khartoum.

Since April 15, Sudan has been witnessing clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum and other cities, and the two sides have exchanged accusations that each began an attack on each other's headquarters, in addition to allegations of controlling sites belonging to each other.
