President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed brotherly relations and various tracks of cooperation and joint work to continue pushing them forward, in order to achieve the mutual interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
During a session of talks held at the Federal Palace in Cairo, the two sides reviewed a number of issues and files of common interest, and the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, and exchanged views on them.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed affirmed the joint keenness to continue consultation and coordination between the UAE and Egypt on everything that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and contributes to enhancing stability, security and peace, which is the way to achieve development and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
For his part, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to his second country, expressing his pride in the brotherly relations between Egypt and the UAE, their leaderships and peoples.
The Egyptian President hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of His Highness the President of the UAE and the accompanying delegation.

During a short break in the VIP lounge at the airport, the Egyptian President welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, and exchanged cordial talks that reflect the strength of the brotherly relations that unite the two brotherly countries, and exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to make it a month of goodness, blessing and mercy for all.
The delegation accompanying His Highness the President includes His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, and UAE Ambassador to Egypt Maryam Khalifa Al Kaabi.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed's motorcade then headed to Al Ittihadiya Palace, and upon his arrival, an official reception ceremony took place, where President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi escorted His Highness the President of the UAE, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the main stage, where the national anthems of the UAE and Egypt were played.
His Highness the President of the UAE later left Cairo, where he was bidding farewell at the airport to the Egyptian President and a number of ministers and senior officials.
