War is also cities destroyed, reduced to rubble, erased from the landscape.
Like, in Ukraine, Posad-Pokrovske: a small town near Kherson, where the conflict has wiped out or devastated practically all buildings - and even burned trees in the streets. Here, slowly, the inhabitants are returning, they are recovering what they can from their homes: and they are already thinking about reconstruction, also thanks to European aid.
